The Producers of NFP will travel to various colleges and universities across the country during Hispanic Heritage Month. NFP plans to work with partnering institutions to host a special film screening of "Chicago's Puerto Rican Story" or "Urban Poet" at each participating institution. A Q&A forum with the filmmakers will follow each screening. The independent film, Urban Poet, caused a major buzz in Chicago and was highly recommended by film critic Roger Ebert during the 19th Annual Chicago Latino Film Festival. Chicago's Puerto Rican Story which debuted on PBS is the first film ever made about any Latino group in Chicago.

If you have questions or are interested in hosting a screening of "Chicago's Puerto Rican Story" or "Urban Poet" at your campus please feel free to contact us at newfilmproduction@yahoo.com.
